Qualia: High-end line of electronics produced by Sony and available only through boutique Sony Qualia shops or specialty retailers. Qualia products were introduced in Japan in 2003 and designed to be the best of their type with no compomise or cost considerations. Though a critical success, particularly the Qualia 006 SXRD TV, the line was phased out for business reasons in 2006.
Quicktime: Multimedia file format created by Apple Computer and used in a variety of applications from Internet audio and video to high-definition television. Quicktime files use the extension .mov in their file name.
